Can You Supply a Bespoke Aluminium Canopy or Carport?
Yes. All of our aluminium canopies and carports are made to order, with custom sizes, roof options (glass or polycarbonate), colour finishes, and optional upgrades available to suit your property.
What Guarantee Do You Provide?
We provide a 10 Year Guarantee on all aluminium canopy and carport systems against structural defects.
Do Aluminium Canopies Require Planning Permission?
Most installations fall under permitted development, depending on size and location. Listed properties or conservation areas may require approval — we recommend confirming with your local authority.
How Should I Prepare the Installation Area?
Please ensure the installation area is clear of obstacles such as furniture, planters, or stored items. For wall-mounted canopies, the fixing wall must be structurally sound. Our team will confirm suitability during survey and advise if any preparation work is required.
What Access Do You Require?
We require parking for at least one installation vehicle and safe access to the work area. Components such as aluminium beams and roof panels can be several metres long, so clear access without tight turns is important.
What Space Is Required Around the Structure?
For freestanding carports, we recommend allowing sufficient working space around the perimeter for safe installation. Wall-mounted canopies require adequate clearance for ladder access and safe working conditions.
What Foundations Do You Use?
For wall-mounted aluminium canopies, we typically fix directly to an existing solid wall and install posts onto suitable concrete pads or an existing sound base. Freestanding carports may require concrete pads or a suitable solid foundation. Final recommendations are confirmed at survey stage.
Are Aluminium Canopies Low Maintenance?
Yes. Our powder-coated aluminium frames are corrosion-resistant and require only occasional cleaning.
What Roofing Options Are Available?
We offer polycarbonate and laminated glass roofs. Polycarbonate improves insulation and diffuses light, while glass provides a premium, brighter finish.
Are Your Structures Weather Resistant?
Yes. Our canopies and carports are designed to withstand UK weather, with integrated drainage for effective rainwater control.
Can I Add Lighting or Heating?
Yes. We offer optional integrated LED lighting and heating solutions to enhance year-round usability. These can be incorporated into the design at the quotation stage.
How Long Does Installation Take?
Most aluminium canopy and carport installations are completed within 3–5 working days, depending on the overall size, roof type, and level of customisation.
Smaller, straightforward wall-mounted canopies can often be installed more quickly, while larger freestanding carports or bespoke configurations may require additional time.
What Are the Payment Terms?
A deposit is required to secure your order and installation date. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation. We accept bank transfer and most major debit or credit cards (excluding American Express).
